Oh, 2011. You were a fine year–full of travel (to New York City, Washington D.C., Chicago, Jacksonville, South Carolina, and Utah), many wonderful books, hours of writing, and many new friends. And now, here are a few of my favorite shots from the last 12 months.

Chi and Jon kind of sounds like “Cheech and Chong” doesn’t it? Or is that just me? In any case, I love this family and I thank them for feeding my boys a ridiculous amount of Popsicles, gifting me with all sorts of Darlybird finery, and letting me chill at their house on an almost daily basis during the entire month of July. If fish and visitors stink after three days, well then I can only imagine the stench we generated…
